CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: International Coaching Course (ICC) - Budapest 2026 (Fall Semester)

We are pleased to inform you that the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and supported by Olympic Solidarity (OS), is now calling for applications for the International Coaching Course (ICC), scheduled to take place in Budapest from 7 October to 26 November 2026.
This intensive programme includes both theoretical and practical teaching hours and is offered in the following Olympic sports disciplines for the Fall Semester 2026:
' Basketball
' Football (Soccer)
' General Conditioning
' Handball
' Tennis
' Weightlifting
'
Judo
Please note that the courses are subject to minimum enrolment.
Important Dates
' NOC Sri Lanka's Deadline to Apply: 3.00 p.m. on 28 July 2026
' Programme Start Date: 7 October 2026
' Programme End Date: 26 November 2026

Interviews: Candidates must be physically present. Dates will be announced after the application deadline.
Entry Qualifications
' G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) or Secondary Education (or higher)
' Supporting documents must be in English or accompanied by official English translations and verified copies of the originals.

Original documents must be presented upon arrival at the university.
Language Requirement
'
Proficiency in English, supported by relevant certification.
Required Documents
' Scanned copy of a valid passport
' .C.E. A/L and/or final examination results
' Proof of coaching and/or sport experience in an Olympic discipline
' Completed medical certificate (Download here)
' Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Recommendation letter from the respective National Federation (signed by the President, Secretary General, or both)

The NOC Sri Lanka is entitled to recommend one male and one female nominee to the IOC Olympic Solidarity for financial support.
Please note that the scholarship is subject to IOC Olympic Solidarity approval. Additional coaches may also apply through their respective National Federations or self-fund their participation at a reduced tuition fee.
Interested candidates (only Sri Lankan citizens) can submit all required documents on or before 3.00 p.m. on 28 July 2026 to education@olympic.lk or by post to: "The Secretary General, Sri Lanka Olympic House, 100/9F, Independence Avenue, Colombo 07, Sri Lanka."
Note: Late submissions will NOT be considered for the selection process.
